** Summary changed:
- F-Spot crashes when I remove "pics without tag" filter
+ F-Spot crashes when I remove "Untagged Photos" filter
** Description changed:
Binary package hint: f-spot
F-Spot just closes when I apply a tag-filter, then I try to look for
- photos without a tag and finally remove the "Pictures without tags"
- option.
+ photos without a tag and finally remove the "Untagged Photos" option.
Environment:
- Feisty Beta (up-to-date)
+ Feisty Fawn 7.04 (up-to-date)
F-Spot 0.3.5
Steps:
- 1-Doble click any tag from the tag list. You can make a complex search by adding more tags to the search, but one it's enough.
- 2-Go to Search Menu
- 3-Click over the last option ("Photos without tags" or something similar)
- 4-Click it again to remove the "Photos without tags" filter
+ 1-Double click any tag from the tag list. You can make a complex search by adding more tags to the search, but one it's enough.
+ 2-Go to "Find" menu
+ 3-Click over the last option ("Untagged Photos" or something similar)
+ 4-Click it again to remove the "Untagged Photos" filter
Now the application close it self without giving me any traceback or "report a bug" alert.
- If instead of removing the filter in the Search Menu (step 4) I click
- over the orange "X" button under the timeline ("Clean Search"), f-spot
+ If instead of removing the filter in the "Find" menu (step 4) I click
+ over the orange "X" button under the timeline ("Clear Search"), f-spot
doesn't crash. It removes all filters and shows all photos again.
EDIT: It's not even necessary to make a click on step 4, just going over
the menu option with your mouse closes the application! It's very weird.
