btw, looked at 1.2.5 - it's only in hardy. and unless you suggest
installing hardy, I'll have to live with 1.2.4 which is really, really
old ("lupus: I fixed this issue months ago, but 1.2.4 is really
ancient").

and sorry for the initial report, I tend to write bug reports when I'm
annoyed by something...
