Thank you for asking me for further feedback.

Microsoft has very much to do with mono. I do know www.mono-project.com.
Let me explain why I think that mono has so much to do with Microsoft.

Mono implements .NET, right?

.NET is Microsoft technology, right?

Mono attempts to implement .NET as much as possible, right?

If you can answer all three questions with "Yes", then you agree with me
that mono is Microsoft-led technology. I do NOT say that mono is written
by Microsoft. The underlying technology, though, is Microsoft
technology.
