i have thunderbird installed by apt-get and stand standard ubuntu repositories.
i have only this thunderbid directory in my home:

.mozilla-thunderbird

a few days ago i installed beagle 0.2.12from source with a little help by some guys on the irc-channel and that version index my thunderbird-mailboxes.
but it needs a lot of CPU time, but that is a different case.
