Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: monodevelop

I think there is something wrong with the dependecies. I downloaded
monodevelop from the offical site and compiled it myself (since I wanted
to try out a newer version). Therefore I did not need the monodevelop
version provided by ubuntu and removed it.

You need to be able to use mono also w/o the offical monodevelop
package, so I think there is something wrong with the dependencies.

apt-get dist-upgrade did not propose to remove these packages, but
aptitude.

apt is an alias for aptitude
