Ok, sorry, tested more, seems like all gtk apps have the same behaviour with closing and cut/paste. I guess I just had a look for certain keys... It's definitely not tomboys fault. What package would that go then? -- ctrl-x makes text bold (instead of cut) https://launchpad.net/bugs/43597
