Confirmed in recent dapper. It locked up my whole KDE-desktop after I went away (desktop was locked). I used tty1 to run 'beagle-shutdown' , but it gave the message that there was no Beagle daemon running and than my whole KDE-session was killed (doesnt know it that is related, but it did so one second later).
