Comment:
At the end of every release annouce for beagle:

"At this point in development, we cannot commit to stable APIs or file formats.
You will almost certainly need to delete your indexes and start again at some
point in the future."

In the interest of my sanity, I can't promise you wont have to remove ~/.beagle during development when upstream doesn't.
