Public bug reported:
https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/32185

Affects: muine (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
I installed muine 0.8.3 (0.8.3-8ubuntu1) on Dapper (20060217 Flight CD).
When I try to run muine, I get:

paul at raven:~$ mono --debug /usr/lib/muine/muine.exe

Unhandled Exception: System.Exception: Failed to initialise the audio backend:
Failed to create a GStreamer play object
in <0x00085> Muine.PlaylistWindow:SetupPlayer ()
in <0x00188> Muine.PlaylistWindow:.ctor ()
in <0x0034d> Muine.Global:Main (System.String[] args)

I'm guessing it's because most of the gstreamer-0.8 dependencies are not
installed (gstreamer-0.10 dependencies probably have been installed in
their place, but muine can only run on 0.8.)

Two things: 1) there is a newer version of muine out, can we upgrade the package to 0.8.4.
2) There is a patch for muine to support gstreamer-0.10 (http://mail.gnome.org/archives/muine-list/2006-January/msg00076.html). Can we get this applied for Dapper?
