I can also confirm this bug.
* Calendar entries do not appear in GUI search (beagle-search)
BUT
* do appear on commandline search (beagle-query)
* do appear in Deskbar Beagle Live search (in documents section)
.. so maybe bug is confined to beagle-search.

I noticed a few days ago that for some reason beagle-backend-evolution was not installed, so I installed it.It must have dropped off somewhere in the Dapper upgrade process. After backend installation I had no problems displaying GUI search results for contacts or mail.
