Unfortunately, I am still seeing this bug in 0.2.4 (I was too optimistic :-( )

Today I had to switch to a virtual terminal and manually kill beagled three times, because gnome was completely unusable.

I don't really understand if the problem is related to deskbar, to beagle, to a combination of the two or to a completely unrelated cause... a system event of some sort (in my case launching Upgrade Manager or VMWare Player) is able to up beagle's memory usage until the system is unusable or I manage to kill the daemon.

Sorry for not giving enough details, I'll try to investigate. It is not too easy, because neither launching beagled from the command line (with --debug and --bg) nor examining its logs reveal strange behaviours...
