I don't have the inclination to go through all the steps, but in case someone else will, I've gone through all the monodevelop bugs. The new version should fix:

bug #35189
bug #5795
bug #5449

But I think it will uncover some other problems (bug #38771) with gecko2.0-cil

Some nice new features are the integrated stetic GUI designer and improved RAD tools for C# (and other CLR languages).
