this looks like a bug I only heard from Debian users until now and disappeared there for some reason...

could you try whether you have this problem without banshee-daap installed?

and please run banshee with gdb and do the following:
gdb --args mono /usr/lib/banshee/banshee.exe
[wait until you get a prompt]
run
[wait until you get back to the prompt because of the segfault]
backtrace
[paste the ouput here]
