We, Canonical IS, aren't responsible for the mirror prober. The
frequency is increased when it's close to a release, in this case,
Oracular, then later reduced back (I think from 15 mins to hours).
The mirror prober is part of the Launchpad project, which is why we
redirect people to file bugs there. I don't think any of the Launchpad
developers lurk here, they may on the Ubuntu Discourse but still,
filing a bug against the project is the best path forward.
