Segmentation fault means a forbidden memory area is overwritten.
Do you use flash for firefox under Linux? Do you have 64-bit processor
(amd64)?
Than chances are, flash plugin is the cause.
The problem in Firefox is that plugins or extensions that are not well
written make crash the whole Firefox. I don't know if Firefox solved the
problem, I guess they have. You might update/upgrade your firefox to
solve the problem.
You should also download flash-block extension for Firefox, this will
block all flash components of a website. It also reduces cpu-usage which
reduces energy consumption, which in turn wastes less energy and that's
better for our planet.
Fessed rah 7aram ;-)
