Hello

1- install a new software : use synaptic (alt+f2 and type synaptic) or use a
terminal and type as root "apt-get install xxxx" where xxx is the software
name.
2-extract zip "apt-get install unzip"(as root)
3-extract rar "apt-get install unrar"(as root)
4- read mp3 rythmbox is already included into lucid
