All,
This came to me just maybe an hour ago, but would it be worth it to
invite all of the team leaders of the *MAJOR* teams of the Ubuntu
Community. The list is below:
- Ubuntu and the flvours developer, translation, marketing, and the
other teams that are key to the success
- LoCo leaders
- Ubuntu Women Elected Leaders
- Of course, other team leaders can join
The point of this idea is to be able to speak to the leaders to figure
out where the issues of leadership (and management, if we decide to also
focus on that). With that, as a team, we can, in turn, help them to
overcome those issues and also write up "documentation" (and list that
under our "Resources" page), to help new leaders.
Of course, if the leaders don't want to join the team, they can send an
e-mail to the list stating what issues they have.
I was thinking (when this idea is approved by the rest of you) that this
call can be done via a e-mail to the News Team stating what we are
looking for. This, in turn, can be highlighted in the Weekly Newspaper
and maybe Ubuntu Fridge. Also, I will post this call on my blog.
Thank you.
P.S. Afterthought: we can also ask them for what works for them as leaders.
