I'm organizing a set of IRC sessions to strengthen leader skills.
I'm looking for help to organize the effort, to help get the word out,
and to lead some of the sessions.
These sessions are not intended to be formal presentations, but short
interactive workshops with examples and facilitated discussion.
Attendees should be able to discuss their (relevant) problems, and to
easily adapt the principles and examples and tools to their team's
situation.
The Wiki Page is the hub of activity:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuLeadership/Projects#Online_Leadership_Tutorial_Sessions
** Help organize:
1) Review and add to the draft list of skills at
https://docs.google.com/document/d/13VOmTgEqCzIW8oITV2d5fIRD3xsiKRVMd39OUlpx6xQ/edit?hl=en_US
If a leader-skill is missing, please add to it!
2) If you're going to UDS, help gather feedback on the proposed
training so we can improve it!
** Help get the word out:
3) Help recruit trainers for the sessions at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuLeadership/Projects#Skill_and_Trainer_List
4) Please forward this call appropriately. Help generate some buzz for
this!
** Lead some of the sessions:
5) If you know the subject well, please help others learn by
facilitating a session!
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuLeadership/Projects#Skill_and_Trainer_List
6) If you have experience to share but don't want to lead, then sign
up to be an Assistant!
Any questions or suggestions, please let me know.
This effort is in an early stage, and feedback to make it more useful is
welcome!
