Jocelyn,

Very good idea! My team and I have been using this for quite a while and
it has helped out tremendously. There are clients for Android, so if
everyone is expecting you to arrive at an event and traffic is backed
up, you can carefully send a quick update to let everyone know. We also
have used it at conferences to let other's know where we plan on being
after a session. People have used it to ask if anyone has a power cable
or adapter to lend so they can charge things, etc. I would recommend
that you also get an account on identi.ca for Ubuntulb as well, In the
new gwibber client you can update them at the simultaneously or
separate, or if you prefer to use only the Web Client you can set one to
update the other.

Thanks for your time,
