Ubuntu-LB Meeting with the RootSpace

Hi All-
RootSpace works to promote tech/innovation and entrepreneurship...
especially social innovation and social entrepreneurship.  Open source is a
big part of that, hence the OpenSesame BarCamp we organized at the end of
February, and the current OpenSesame initiative.  We are working to organize
workshops/etc around several core open source tools (plus social media and
collaboration tools, even though they are not all open source, they are free
and "open").  Current focus on Linux, Drupal, Wordpress, open source project
management tools, hardware hacking, desktop tools (like OpenOffice), and
phone/PBX (like Asterisk/Elastix)...  interest is both to improve the
coder/developer community as relates to these tools, and also improve
community awareness from the part of potential users (business,
organizations, individuals) from the non-coder side...

I tried to connect with some Linux groups last year, but didn't have much
luck getting things going...  I'm excited that you folks are getting
active/involved in Lebs, and look forward to seeing if there are some ways
we can collaborate or coordinate...
