Ubuntu-LB Installation Festival

Hello, I don't mind doing it in the weekend. My laptop is Hp compaq nx9030,
1.6 Ghz centrino, 256 mb ram, 40 gb harddrive... by the way i tried
installing ubuntu dapper 6.06.1 live onto it but the installer crashed at a
stage without giving error so i prefer using the alternate install. I'm
using windows/linux in dual boot.
