Saqib,
There must be some way to import your microsoft keyboard layout. I am not
sure but you can either google for it or ask away in Urdu Computing Yahoo
group.

The reason for urdu text to appear broken could be:
1. You did not install Urdu packages from System > Administration > Language
Support.
2. If you are only seeing nafees web naskh broken then you should download a
newer version of font from their website.
3. Short cut keys are a known issue and we are working on that. But it will
take some time before you can see the changes.
4. Metacity, compiz and gtk are theme engines not themes. You should consult
with Gnome Documentation or support options at gnome look.
