#extractiso contents

#Extract the SquashFSfilesystem

sudounsquashfsmnt/casper/filesystem.squashfs

mv squashfs-root edit

#copy archive files you have
to the live image

open a terminal and run command

gksu nautilus /home/username/livecdtmp/edit

copy archive folder to /home/

 

nano /etc/apt/sourcers.list

add this line to end of file

deb file:///home/archives/ ./

save and exit from nano

apt-get update

 

# install all needed
softwares as this

apt-get install gimp

 

# To add custom backgrounds,
copy background files to this location

/usr/share/backgrounds

 

#check user id

awk -F: '$3 > 999' /etc/passwd

 

#If you get any hits, try
changing the uid:

usermod -u 500 $hit

 

 

#cleanup

aptitude clean

 

rm -rf /tmp/* ~/.bash_history

 

rm /etc/hosts

 

rm /etc/resolv.conf
