export QT_IM_MODULE="scim"
is the fourth line if QT based for apps are used.

Are there QT based apps for gonme?

Anyway for using with QT based apps on KDE, installing and configuring
SKIM wrapper is additional  burden one has to go through. (Not
necessary for FF and OO though)

Shri Ramadaas, archives don't keep attachment files as files? Any file
space for this?
