Hi all,
I had stated to join Chat at 8.00 AM and 10.00 PM on IRC.
shriramadhas at gmail.com and shriramadhas at yahoo.com are my respective gmail
and yahoo ids.
I will also make myself available on Yahoo IM and Google talk during this
time. and In IM i will be available mostly during night and early morning.
I am indeed preparing the documentation. To update you all, its half done.
Mugunth, Can you share with us the experience u got in translating Firefox.
It will be useful.
Ok. I will take the responsibilty of sending the PO files to every one.
Hope every one received the PO files for GNOME and Open office.. I got KDE
also and Sujatha's Kalai Sol agarathi too.. I will sending them today on
reaching home.
To night you can find help details as to how to add these to translation
database.
I was in Bangalore to attend the conference on General Public License
Version 3 last Wednesday and Thursday.
It went smooth and I am attaching the photos taken there herewith.
Please visit www.fsf.org.in for further details.

Stepwise instructions - to view Unicode Tamil text
1. You need to have Unicode Tamil fonts installed on your computer and the
Operating System capable of rendering Tamil Scripts. Windows XP comes with a
Unicode Tamil Font (Latha) and you need not download/install a unicode font.
2. In the Control Panel, in Regional/Languages Options you will need to
ensure that Indic/Asian Language option is checked.
3. Use a browser that is capable of handling UTF-8 based pages (Netscape 6,
Internet Explorer 5) with the Unicode Tamil font chosen as the default font
for the UTF-8 char-set/encoding view. Unicode Tamil Fonts may be downloaded
from http://www.tamilnation.org/fonts/latha.ttf
