Subject: OpenOffice.org translations now open for Ubuntu 7.04

Hello,

OpenOffice.org translations are now open in Launchpad for Ubuntu 7.04
(Feisty).

We're sorry for the delay. Unfortunately, we had some difficulties in
converting from OpenOffice.org's native language pack format to the
GetText format used by Launchpad.

This meant that we were unable to open translations for OpenOffice.org
in time for Ubuntu 7.04's launch. It also means that the language packs
for OpenOffice.org in Ubuntu 7.04 only include translations from the
OpenOffice.org project and not from Launchpad Translations.

However, we have now overcome the format difficulties. If you're a
translator, you'll notice that there are now roughly 232 templates for
OpenOffice.org, rather than the previous 26.

This also affects Ubuntu 6.10 (Edgy) and 6.06 (Dapper). You may notice
that translations for OpenOffice.org are temporarily unavailable in
Launchpad for both these version of Ubuntu, while we re-import upstream
translations and combine them with existing translations in Launchpad.

We'll include any future translations in Ubuntu's monthly language pack
updates.

Again, we're sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.
