App of Toepassing in Ubuntu Touch

Hier ben ik het eens met Rachid. Ik vind dat er duidelijk onderscheid is 
tussen het woord "toepassing" en "app". In de omgeving van de mobieltjes 
en tablets spreken we over een app. Ook in het Engels wordt hier niet 
het langere woord "application" gebruikt. Er bestaat tegenwoordig zelfs 
een werkwoord, whatsappen. Afschuwelijk, maar wel de realiteit.
Het blijft het eeuwige dilemma: wel of niet vertalen van in het 
Nederlands ingeburgerde Engelse woorden. We zullen ermee moeten leren leven.
