Index chapter 2

Hi Kevin,
While preparing to index chapter 2 I found out that it has already been 
done. I find the readability a bit confusing. Everything is grouped 
under "desktop", which is ok I guess. But then I see Dash and Launcher 
(no page number), sub search, 32 and Unity, sub Dash and sub Launcher. 
Does a beginner know that items like Dash, Home Folder, Places, 
workspaces are part of Unity?
If I were a beginner, I would look for the letter "L" if I want to find 
information about the Launcher, not the "U". I would also like to see 
Launcher and Dash under "L" and "D", apart from subs of "desktop".
And why do I see Places (capital P), but workspaces (lowercase)?

I also think it would improve readability of the index if items are 
grouped by alphabet with the letter as a heading like this:
         A
applications
audio

        B
Bluetooth
boot

About "applications": at this moment I only see Brasero. Shotwell is a 
sub of photos, Thunderbird is a sub of email and Rhythmbox is not in the 
index at all. Would it be an idea to mention all applications under 
"applications" with a reference to the main index such as "photos", 
"music/sound/audio", "video", "burning CDs" etc.?
