How to Translate?

Hey guys,

I have been sleeping member of the marathi translation group on
launchpad for a while now.
I want to start contributing, but I am not able to find the docs on
how do I actually translate.
I tried to translate the "Basic Commands" , but not sure what to update there.

Do I have to use marathi fonts in work editor, and copy paste it using
the launchpad's translation tool??

Is there any doc/howto available on how to translate?
