Sono valide entrambe le trad, sia "in rilievo" sia "smussato"...

"in rilievo" se ci si riferisce ad un oggetto
rappresentato tridimensionalmente o di cui si considerano le 3 dimensioni
, "trompe l'œil", ad esempio un pulsante...

"smussato" se l'oggetto a cui ci si riferisce è bidimensionale
o se ne considerano solo 2 dimensioni, in pratica la vista in sezione
di un oggetto "beveled".
