[Ubuntu-l10n-eng] "routeing"

Hi folks,

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/language-pack-en-base/+bug/155756
complains about the word "routeing" being used in an en_GB translation
in the context of a routing table. I noticed that
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/EnglishTranslation/WordSubstitution recommends
this too. This surprised me, so I looked it up in the OED (online, also
in my "Oxford Dictionary and Thesaurus" paper version) and found that it
allows either "routeing" or "routing" as the present participle, without
marking either one as regional.

I find "routeing" a rather surprising spelling myself. I don't think I'd
use it even in non-technical senses, and I find that it jars
particularly when referring to Internet routing; I've never seen a
British English speaker use this spelling before. Could we discard this
particular translation?

(Oh, and hello. I was born and grew up in Belfast so my speech patterns
are quite markedly regional, but I think my writing is quite standard
British English. I live in Cambridge - the original one - nowadays.)
