[Ubuntu-l10n-eng] Hyphen, space or neither?

I believe that we never reached a successful conclusion on the "setup/set-up, 
plugin/plug-in and login/log-in" debate[1][2]. As pedantic as it may sound, I 
believe that it is important. I posted a message to the GNOME-UK and 
KDE-En-GB lists, requesting input[3]. In particular, the responses by David 
Lodge[4] and Bastien Nocera[5] were most informative.
