I agree, I think it should be dialogue box, it is a box that displays
dialogue...so why not?

Login should be a word on its own though. It is used so frequently it
has become a part of our language, just like program to mean computer
program. Program can be a verb, "I program computers" or a noun, "I ran
the program." Therefore, I think login should be the same.
