It is common for en_US text to be translated when quoted in an en_GB 
publication, and vice versa, even in official documents. Since the changes 
are limited to spelling and not meaning, there is no harm provided that it is 
done properly. Leaving a string untranslated leaves inconsistencies, which 
can be jarring to the reader.
