Orange 3G+ modem

I got the original instructions from another Kenyan user, and then I typed
them up to provide better documentation.

You'll want to configure it for CDMA.

pppconfig doesn't work so well with the network manager, and sometimes while
browsing with firefox, I have to tell firefox specifically that i don't want
to work offline (uncheck "Work Offline")
Other than that pppconfig is much more stable, and I've used it not just for
Orange, but also for Safaricom and Yu (on occasion).
