security vulnerability was discovered yesterday in the Linux kernel
packages of the Ubuntu 8.04, 7.10, 7.04 and 6.06 LTS distributions
(also applies to Kubuntu, Edubuntu and Xubuntu). This kernel
vulnerability could lead to DoS (Denial of Service) attacks and loss of
privacy.
