Sorry to hear this, I do indeed wish him a speedy recovery.
Now that I'm back in the UK, it really strikes me how dangerous the roads
are in Kenya (and particularly Nairobi). There was an accident on the M25
here at the weekend in which 6 people died - it was headline news. According
to a police spokesman, it was the most serious accident on that road since
it opened in 1986. I'd got so used to reading about terrible accidents in
the Nation that I thought he must be lying, but it appears to be true. I
think I'd just ben conditioned into horrific accidents being a natural part
of daily life.

I'm sorry to inform everyone that otis (Ronald) was injured in a road
accident. He tells me he'll be out of hospital hopefully on Friday.
He has a broken shoulder, and a damaged hip.
