前々回の
Masakazu Takahashiさんに頂いた助言を実行する前に、
Ubuntu Minamal 9.10 Installer の
Install -> Advanced options -> Command-line expert install
を初めて試みてみました。

結果は
- フオントTerminusBold 14 の選択が出来る。
　default の 16 よりも、最小ではないが小さくなり
　バランスの良い読みやすいフオントで、かなり満足してます。
　# VGA にすると 14 or 8 の選択が可能になり、フオントが小さくは
  # なりますが横長でかなり読み難くなりました。
- root ログインが出来る。(sudo に慣れていません :-) )
- all module into initrd が出来る。
  (他の Linux で動かなかった device が稼動しました !)

等の良い結果を得ましたので、
しばらくはこの Ubuntu を使ってるつもりです。

結果にはかなり満足していますが、なお課題もあります。
a) language selection の整合性と影響 ?
b) keyboard selection の整合性と影響 ?
c) Japanese input in CUI command line の可能性 ?
d) root, user を 加え、root から /home/user が見えている
　　にも関わらず alt-PFx による terminal 1-7 が作動しない ?
e) サイズ 14 以下の TerminusBold フオントは ?

私のインストール時の項目選択の整合性に(知識不足で)問題があると
思われます。
指導、助言、推薦等をいただければ幸です。
