Linux and free software environment; we are committed to promoting open
source software through using, developing and supporting its use for our
customers. credativ has a long history of contributing to free software
projects such as OpenOffice.org, PostgreSQL and Debian GNU Linux and
supports a range of clients in many different environments.
We are looking for a motivated Ubuntu developer to expand our technical
team. Based in our Open Source Support Centre, you will be working on
open source projects as well as providing customer support, bug fixing
and troubleshooting.
Required skills and experience:
* Ubuntu packaging experience
* Programming skills, especially C and Python
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Flexibility with job responsibilities and tasks
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Desired skills and experience:
* Involvement with other projects, particularly Postgres, OpenERP,
Nagios / ICINGA
* C++, Java, Ruby, Perl
* A degree in Computer Science or in a related discipline
* Participation in or working towards contributing to open source projects
