Good Python IDE's for Ubuntu..?

http://pydev.sourceforge.net/download.html

for the installation open eclipse
go to Help > Software Updates > Find and Install
select search for new featurs to install
click next
click new remote site
enter name "paydev"
enter url
http://pydev.sourceforge.net/updates/

follow the instructions and it will guid you to successful installation.

Note that if you find an error message when the update site bring to you the
list of installable features open that list and only select the basic
features do not choose the optional ones.
