Anche se ti ho detto che hanno lo stesso server grafico, il problema non risiede "strettamente" in esso ma, più verosimilmente, nel driver grafici della ATI (sia open che proprietari) che, per qualche motivo, danno origine ad un qualche conflitto. Quindi, se vuoi restare in Ubuntu: prova una versione più vecchia (ad esempio la 11.10 o la 11.05) poi, appurato che funziona tutto, fai gli avanzamenti di versione per giungere a quelle più nuove.</p>

Mi sembra inutile mandarti su Mamma Debian, a meno che tu non voglia "sbatterti" un po', però, al limite...</p>
