Ciao Franco,
Ti consiglio (così come per il mio problema) di provare una derivata live 
della 14.04 x64 (es. Mint 17.3 oppure Ubuntu 14.04) e controllare se tutto 
funziona.
La 16.04 mi pare ad oggi un poco immatura in chiave driver...
