A volte anche l'acqua calda serve... ;)
Mi sembra un metodo valido...
Esegui questa roba (togliendo eventualmente "samsungmfp-scanner"
dall'ultima riga se la tua stampante non ha lo scanner):

sudo add-apt-repository "deb http://www.bchemnet.com/suldr/ debian extra"
wget -O - http://www.bchemnet.com/suldr/suldr.gpg | sudo apt-key add -
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install samsungmfp-driver, samsungmfp-data samsungmfp-scanner
--force-yes

Poi riavvia (forse non è necessario, ma fallo comunque) e dopo aver
aggiunto la stampante (se non l'aggiunge automaticamente l'installer,
quello della mia Canon Pixma la aggiunge in automatico) dovresti riuscire a
stampare e scannerizzare.
