Sulla console non viene visualizzato alcun messaggio e nella finestra di
update-manager non compare il bottone per l'avanzamento di versione.

Certo, è la prima cosa che ho scritto e continuo ad andare a controllare
perché non mi sembra verosimile. Ho controllato anche il contenuto di
/etc/update-manage/release-upgrades:

$ cat /etc/update-manager/release-upgrades
