Appunto... e, non è piaggeria, ma permettimi di segnalarti l'utilità 
delle tue risposte ;-)))

Il fastidio è che HP ha una miriade di stampanti e non è facile 
destreggiarti fra loro per scegliere la migliore.
Alla fine anche una laser mi andrebbe bene (volevo la getto d'inchiostro 
per stampare i files QCad con i layers ben visibili... ma tant'è ;-)))

Wow, no one asnwered this?

I found this thread when looking for a solution myself. In the end I 
found out on my own how to do it and it's super easy. Just install the 
packages from the brother site using
Code:

dpkg -i --force-architecture mfc6890cdw*

For me the installation hung on starting the cups service but the driver 
was installed anyway.

After that you can just use ubuntu's printer add method and it will find 
the driver automatically.


A dimostrazione che non tutto fila sempre "liscio" con le Brother.
