Puoi usare anche exiv2, mentre ci sei:

$ exiv2 -v -m /foto/exiv2-cmd.txt *.JPG

/foto/exiv2-cmd.txt è un semplice file di testo (che puoi chiamare come 
vuoi e mettere dove vuoi). Il mio contiene:

set Exif.Image.Copyright Ascii © Roby Pozzato 2010, some rights 
reserved. See www.sprazzidiluce.it
set Exif.Image.Artist Ascii Camera owner, Roby Pozzato; Photographer, 
Roby Pozzato; Image creator, Roby Pozzato

Occhio che sono solo due righe, ne vedi 4 perché TB le spezza. La riga 
comincia con "set".
