Puoi usare il livecd di gparted per modificare la partizione e fare
spazio a windows.
Credo sia possibile utilizzare il boot loader per caricare linux ma
non l'ho mai fatto.
Puoi ripristinare grub dopo l'installazione usando il livecd. trovi
info sul wiki, ad esempio:

Per giochi "semplici" io me la cavo tra wine e virtual machine. ma io
gioco a monkey island 2 tipo, quindi forse non fa testo :)
