[ubuntu-it] S-ATA

Non riesco ad installare Ubuntu (ma ho provato anche con altre distro) 
su un PC con queste caratteristiche:


M/B    M/B x AM2 AMD - audio, LAN, USB2.0 - VGA 128Mb integrata - slot 
PCI-E x16 - A.I.O.
Cpu    AMD Sempron 3200+ 1.8 GHz
Memoria    DDR II 1GB 533 / 667Mhz
Hard Disk    160GB S-ATA
Scheda Video    128MB shared - integrata on board
Masterizzatore 16x DVD±R/RW


Il cd parte, seleziono la prima voce ma poi mi dice che è impossibile 
procedere. Credo sia un problema del S-ATA. Qualcuno sa come fare?
