Non farti ingannare dal modulo
ieee80211softmac 31360 1 zd1211rw
Appartiene ad una periferica wi-fi esterna, una minitar usb chipset ZD1211 ed è logico che non ti viene rilevata.
I moduli da quello che vedo sono caricati, ma, la eth1 non è attiva.Con ifconfig dovrebbe uscire

per te dovrebbe essere eth1.
Anche se non settata la ipw3945 se attiva ( accesa ) dovrebbe rilevare le reti presenti.
La cosa mi stuzzica, se hai pazienza domani carico il live kubuntu e verifico l'arcano mistero.
Provando con la medesima distro sarò più preciso nelle info.
