[ubuntu-it] Problemi modem adsl INTERNO

Ciao a tutti non riesco a far riconoscere il modem
interno adsl a kubuntu 06.06 ho provato a fare
ifconfig e mi ha dato questo risultato:

cosa posso fare?
su google ho visto che in pasato sono riuscitit a
configurare un modem come il mio ma ora la pagina del
link non esiste più
Il mio modem è un ITEX PCI adsl modem
